The first half of this introductory session will discuss making the most of the first day of class, including strategies to succeed in building a safe learning environment.
The second half will provide a cursory overview of instructional design principles for developing materials in Blackboard for f2f, and hybrid courses, and will focus on hands-on practice for creating announcements, and posting lesson materials.
Workshop Objectives:
• Explore strategies to “set the tone” during the first class for a successful semester
• How to use the recommended standard template for course navigation
• How to create folders and content (including files, items, audio, and video)
