Title: Building Accessible Digital Experiences
Online educational experiences continue to be an area of growth as more and more content moves online. With this increase in mind, greater attention needs to be paid by educators when it comes to meeting a number of accessibility requirements as all users are owed the opportunity to equally access their online content.
This workshop will recap the research journey undertaken by Humber College’s Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Innovative Learning – Teaching + Learning team members and, more importantly, introduce and demonstrate a host of in-house built, open source, accessibility tools that leverage some of the latest web technologies. Participants will learn how easy it is to make their web content and digital experiences accessible by integrating no-cost, advanced accessible features. Join us as we reveal the latest iteration of the Humber Accessibility Bar.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to learn how easy it is to make their web content and digital experiences accessible by integrating no-cost, advanced accessible features.
