Designing an Active Learning Activity (Active Learning Part 2)

Building off the tech-enabled and non-tech active learning strategies explored in the previous session, faculty will select a component of a current course (in-class activity, assessment, or lecture presentation) to modify using one or more of the active learning strategies with the assistance of a CATL team member.

Workshop Objectives:

• Implement best practices for learner-centered teaching
• Re-design a course component using an active learning strategy
